As a progressive club who fielded our first girls team in the inaugural RDCA girls cricket competition in 2017, we are excited to expand our female cricket program to cater for girls and women of all ages, abilities and interests.  From young girls and aspiring juniors to women who are interested in playing competitive games or wish to focus on enjoyment and exercise, we can offer you a great option.

 

Junior Blasters Program (Ages 4-8)

The TCC Junior Blasters program offers girls aged 5-9 years the opportunity to kick-start their cricket career in a fun, energy filled atmosphere. Each girl receives a participant pack that includes a bag, bat, ball, shirt and hat.

 

Junior Girls Cricket Competition (Ages 8-17)

We offer girls of all abilities and experience the opportunity to play cricket in a fun, female specific competition.  Playing in the RDCA Girls competition which follows the Cricket Australia junior cricket formats, we will field teams in the Stage 1 (entry point) Stage 2 (established player) and Stage 3 (experienced players) levels.  Focusing upon skill development and participation, the Stage 1 competition uses a soft ball which allows for new players to develop the confidence and skills required to progress to stage 2. No prior experience is necessary the Club provides all necessary equipment.

Our junior girls teams play games on a Sunday morning, with the season begining in early October and finishing in late March.

 

Women's Cricket Competition (Ages 16+)

Whether you have never played the game before or are an experienced cricketer, we would love to have you play. Joining our team will provide you with a great social outlet, an opportunity to make new friends and to enjoy a friendly atmosphere. No prior experience is necessary the Club provides all necessary equipment.

Our women's team trains on a Tuesday night at Templeton Reserve and play matches on a Sunday afternoon.  The season begins in October and finishes in late March.
