Last player up for our Milestone weekend at the Snake Pit is yet another Taipan all the way from juniors, Cam Graham, who also plays game 200 for Templeton this week!

Cam, a key member of our 2023/23 2ndXI premiership, has started this season with a bang - averaging over 50 with the bat over the first few weeks of season 2024/25

Cam is another player who has developed beautifully through our senior division over the past many years, but his enthusiasm towards being a part of the team and bringing a positive vibe to the whole club is something that is a highlight for this young man.

Congratulations Cam! Keep pushing and you could well get a 1stXI hat to go with your 200 game milestone during season 2024/25!

Zac, still yet to turn 18, reaches this milestone only a few month after also becoming the proud owner of 1stXI hat #199 in the last round of last season.

An off-spinner, he has also developed into a high quality top order bat who only a few weeks ago made a career high score of 88* whilst carrying his bat in a 2ndXI match.

Built with all of the competitiveness of his Disney & Johnston bloodlines, Zac is destined for a long and prosperous career as a Taipan!

Congratulations Zac!

Cadyn has been at the club since "Milo" and gradually built his career over many years to the point where he made his debut in the 1st XI last season and is the proud owner of hat #198 for the Taipans.

Owner of both a Brett Keys and Jason Denton medal, Cadyn is personified as an opening bat who is patient, and the whole team can build their innings around to ensure the maximum output for the whole team.

Congratulations Cadyn! There is no doubt that this is only the beginning of what will no doubt be an long and important career as a Taipan!

👏A huge thank you to Dave Burt from Sports & Life Training (SALT) and the Knox City Council for presenting the “Allies of Change - Preventing Violence Against Women” session at our club. It was incredibly valuable for our players and members to learn about the impact of violence against women and girls, and explore how we as a club can contribute to the solution and become proactive allies.
We would highly recommend these sessions for all sporting clubs and organisations.

Preparing for a new season takes a lot of effort from many hands, but we want to give a huge shoutout to our Volunteer of the Month for October, Natasha Jorgensen.

Tash has had a long-standing association with our Club, both as a parent and more recently as a player. She has worn many hats—official scorer for our First XI, founder of the inaugural women's indoor cricket team (which clinched the winter premiership), organiser of club apparel, vocal committee member for women's cricket, captain of the 24/25 women's team, and a key
helper with our girls' cricket clinics with Templeton Primary School. Plus, she still finds time to be our First XI scorer. Tash, you're an absolute legend—thanks for everything!!
