5/5 wins from our senior sides this week 🤩

The stand out performer was one of our under 16’s Arjun Arun Nair, who hit his second career 100 in the 3rds mammoth win against Kilsyth. Arjun’s ton came off just 92 balls, included 13 boundaries which set the 3rd XI up nicely to go on and win by 204 runs. Well done Arjun, looking forward to many more senior tons in the future!

Our player in focus this week is one of our under 14’s, Hamish McLean. He put on 94 off just 83 balls over at Kilsyth this week! Our young gun’s knock included 8 fours and 5 sixes. Over two weekends that were both rain effected, we pulled through some great wins across the different grades which brought some outstanding individual performances.

Connor was given the spotlight last week, so our player in focus this week is the reigning Volunteer of the Month, Luke Christey! Luke had amazing figures of 5/18 off 10 overs which helped his 3rd XI keep their unbeaten record this season. Whilst leading the B grade comp bowling average, his doing a tremendous job captaining the our 3rd XI. Keep up the good work Twisty!

For the month of November we celebrate one of our long time players who has really stepped up to give his all to the club.

Luke is always around offering support to just get things done. He continues to be the handyman around the club, fixing issues we come across and over the last few years has been seen pushing the line marker around on a regular basis. Luke was instrumental in getting the Superdraw up and running and worked the bar most of the night this year. Luke has stepped back into the 3rd XI to be the captain and provide a mentoring role for some of younger players coming through. He regularly puts himself down the order both with bowling and batting to give everyone a go.

Thanks for all your hard work Twisty!

Our littlest legend Chloe jumped in to play with us for her first time this week and she proved she definitely has a place in the team when she wants to play. Her bowling was quick and she was our second wicket taker of the day sending off their best bat with her brilliant bowling. Chloe then went in to bat for us, and handled the fast bowlers with a brave face! Thanks ladies!

- Women's XI have a great first win of the season by 8 wickets against North Ringwood.

- Second XI require 97 runs with 7 wickets in hand next week after a dominate bowling display against Croydon Rangers.

- Third XI lead by 23 runs with still 5 wickets in hand against Mt Evelyn.

- Fourth XI enjoy a great win against Kilsyth winning by 90 runs.

- Fifth XI also dominated rolling Wantirna for 84, passing them 3 down.
